The Academic Council of Kumudini Women's Medical College is the highest decision-making body of Kumudini Women's Medical College. It ensures the smooth functioning and development of academic activities.
Composition
The Academic Council is chaired by the Principal of the College. The members include:
- Director of Kumudini Hospital.
- Vice-Principal of the College.
- Heads of all Departments.
- All Professors.
- Two senior-most Associate Professors:
- One from Pre-Clinical Departments.
- One from Clinical Departments.
- Two senior-most Assistant Professors:
- One from Pre-Clinical Departments.
- One from Clinical Departments.
- Two elected student representatives.
Purpose
This body monitors academic progress and ensures compliance with college rules and regulations. It refers disciplinary matters to the Disciplinary Committee for necessary action against rule violations.
