The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Department at KWMC is dedicated to training MBBS andBDS students in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of ear, nose, throat, head, and neckdisorders. A vital medical specialty, ENT addresses conditions such as hearing loss, sinusdiseases, voice disorders, and head and neck cancers.
The department combines lectures, clinical demonstrations, and hands-on training, ensuringstudents gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Facilities include an AudiologyLab for hearing assessments, an Endoscopy Unit for detailed visualization of nasal andlaryngeal structures, and a Skill Development Center for simulation-based training in ENTprocedures.
Additionally, the library offers extensive resources on otology, rhinology, laryngology, andhead-neck surgery. Through a comprehensive curriculum and modern infrastructure, the ENTDepartment equips students to excel in this dynamic field and address the diverse challenges ofhealthcare.
Kumudini Women’s Medical College (KWMC) was established within the umbrella of Kumudini Welfare Trust in 2001.
