Demonstration and Tutorial (small group discussions) in preclinical and para clinical courses | Sixteen practical, tutorial, demonstration and museum rooms, histology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, community medicine practical and museums. |
Cadaver dissection and learning in museums | Anatomy dissection room, Cadaver house, anatomy museum, museum for pathology, microbiology and community medicine |
Clinical case presentation, bed side clinical teaching | Seminar room in each department, out-patient departments, students studies case taking, clinical examinations and management under supervision of clinical registers and professors. Students in small group observe surgeries in operation theatres and labour room. |
Skill laboratory, with OSPE/ OSCE stations and video aided live demonstration of surgeries | A clinical OSPE/OSCE room, clinical ward equipped with manikins, models, training materials, audio visual aids and video conference room linked to operation theatre to observe surgeries with live demonstration. |
Reading room and Library | Reading room with 150 seats and the library where there are reference reading materials, journals and textbooks. Internet facility and e-library remains open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm every day for study. |
Kumudini Women’s Medical College (KWMC) was established within the umbrella of Kumudini Welfare Trust in 2001.
